WHAT DO WE DO?
Sound Producer
Most people understand that in the music industry, a record producer is tasked to oversee the recording, arrangement and mixing of hit singles and albums for global artists. So put simply, our Sound Producer is the equivalent for movies.
BAFTA member Neil Hillman MPSE is our lead Sound Producer, and he’s at your service to bring together the planning, recording and mixing of your project’s dialogue, effects, atmospheres, backgrounds, Foley and score…
With his considerable experience, enviable CV and more than 1,000 IMDb credits as a Production Mixer on location, as well as his work in audio post-production as a Dialogue Editor, an ADR Mixer, a Sound Designer, a Re-recording Mixer and a Supervising Sound Editor, Neil’s Sound Producer role means a single-point of reference for the pre-production, production and post-production of ‘all things audio’ in any project; with a responsibility for overseeing the quality, style and strategy of a soundtrack, as well as developing the full emotional impact on audiences.
Why is this last point important? Because whilst sound is routinely said to be 50% of the product, research shows that sound is actually 80% of an audience’s emotional experience.
Why leave it to chance when this help is so readily at hand?
HOW CAN WE HELP YOU?
The Sound Producer role is about delivering peace of mind to Producers and Directors for any moving picture production’s soundtrack – from its concept, right the way through to its completion.
Whatever your own level of experience, we can help.
